Marriage is dying out because... No one really believes in until death do us part anymore. Half of all marriages end up in divorce with everyone involved bitter and poorer for it.

Only the deeply devout actually still believe in marriage and they're in a "dating minefield" of people wanting to have a big party and fleece them due to believing the deeply devoted to be chumps and naive.
