RPG Game Ideas

im making this tabletop RPG game, and i thought one thing that would be fun is if someone landed on a square and when they draw a card, one of the cards could be an 'hourglass' card.

of course you could make it to be something like: "gain 1 extra turn" or something, but i thought it would be more fun is if you had a mini hourglass and then the players would have to do something before the time runs out

im just not sure what to do in that amount of time. d&d nerds inputs are welcome of course as i am one, but what would like an outsider think would be a fun challenge to play on a board game that requires a timer?

i'm thinking that if kal were to play this game, the hourglass would be 20 seconds instead of 30 for an extra challenge for him

... open a d&d thread, a perfectly normal hobby not unlike reading, computer games, card collecting, and other random hobbies that people have... gets called a mentally ill fuckwit by the biggest mentally ill fuckwit that's ever existed on any board I've ever been to. It's so used to any semblance of normality that it's mind is absolutely blown.

No, Issac, you're one of those nerds who's really aggressive and thinks they know everything and you probably do, no doubt about that.

I don't want to play d&d with a GM like Issac who has this God complex. It's supposed to be fun for everyone and it's a lot harder than chess or the online RPG stuff (computer RPGs came out at the same time tabletop did, but only REAL old school nerds remember not having enough data on your floppy disk... in Issac's case... MEGA floppy disk. To even play an RPG.
