Yorkshire Pudding ... I love this. I would immigrate to England just for the Yorkshire Pudding.

I read about that, too. Cocoa will become a coveted property very soon... especially since all the American candy companies are using 7% or less cocoa in their 'chocolate'.

Yep, Bangers and Mash was one of my family's standard recipes. But mom made with beef instead of sausage. And I never heard the phrase 'bangers and mash' until 2010 when curmy and I went to England.

RE: Favorite Recipes!

All of my family (both sides) came from England, so I grew up drinking hot tea. I really miss the Yorkshire pudding, though. Maybe if I wrote a nice letter to the King they would let me immigrate at least for a week or two?

RE: Favorite Recipes!

Here is an original and it is easy.

- one container of grape or cherry tomatoes halved (grape is better), cut them straight into the bowl so you capture the juice
- one container of perlini mozzarella balls (the small ones) drained, If you can't get that, just cube regular or quarter the larger ones
- one cup of al dente orzo pasta
- balsamic reduction of choice to taste (light or dark) its in the sauce aisle, reduction is a thicker and sweeter version than balsamic vinegar, which you should not use
- fresh basil (although the tube will work in a pinch)

Mix, chill and serve. If using tube basil, add it with the mix. If using fresh basil, add it at serving otherwise is looks really gross.

I prefer this one at room temp, and it is good for about a week in the fridge.

The balsamic reduction goes on anything. I used to keep a bottle in my desk and my co-workers would use it up. :)
