Anxiety and pain are good things.

When you feel anxiety, it means you're worried about something and everyone should worry a lot more than they do. When you worry about things it shows you have a problem and this problem needs to be resolved.

I knew a guy with anxiety down in Brisbane, he was constantly worried about people "punching his head in" and the reason for that was he was very manipulative but not very smart. He'd lie to people and get caught out in his lie quickly and easily when it became "uncomfortable or inconvenient".

The resolution to his problem was to stop playing mind games and making excuses for his many failings. However, he didn't want to do that! So he's probably still stressing over all the money he owes for weed and how he has to hide in his until he thinks people will forget his debts.

However, people don't forget debts. People become more irate at the debtor because they think if they had the money they're owed, one or more problems would either go away or have gone away in the time they've been owed the money...

So, what do we know about this guy? He's probably getting his head "punched in" repeated as he doesn't learn the lesson that his anxiety was trying to teach him.

Thus that is my argument anxiety is good, because it helps us identify and ultimately change our behaviour for the better.

Also, Dr Orion Taraban of the Psychacks YouTube channel made a way better argument in a youtube video that pain was one of our greatest gifts in that it is the most effective teacher known to man!
