Yet another voter suppression scandal in Georgia was reported by The New York Times on Thursday.

The Democratic Party of Georgia reportedly submitted over 4,700 vote-by-mail applications in DeKalb County, but the elections board could only confirm receiving 48 requests.

"We will not allow Brian Kemp's voter suppression or mistakes by election officials to take away your right to vote," pledged Democratic Party spokesperson Seth Bringman.

One of The Times reporters whose name appears on the story's byline explained the stakes on Twitter.
